1. Strict Control of Immigration to ensure that the Bahamian jobs, culture and social fabric are protected for Bahamian development. 2. Minimal government, balanced economy, emphasis on agriculture, fisheries, and ecologically safe mining of seabed resources. 3. An ‘Interest of the Bahamas first’ foreign policy, taking us out of harmful international treaties that are detrimental to us. 4. Rejection of any Regionalist Policy that seeks to force us into a political or economic union to our detriment. 5. A Strong Pro-Environmental preservation policy, critical to an eco-friendly Bahamas, essential to the maintenance of an environment favorable to our people's holistic well being. 6. A Pro-Life, Pro-Family values policy where alternative lifestyles do not replace traditional Christian values in Bahamian society. 7. A Land Reform Policy directed at the resolution of all 'generation' property disputes via a specific 'Land Court', and the preservation of adequate prime land for the prosperity of current and future generations of Bahamians. 8. Economic Diversification under a twenty year plan to reduce to the minimum our dependence e.g. on food from outside! 9. Improved Internal Security and more aggressive fight against crime including implementation of the death penalty. 10. The implementation of a more equitable method of funding government than the current indirect tax system. 11. A Comprehensive Modern National Youth Service policy to rescue our youth and engage them in positive programs. 12. Complete revision of our Educational system to produce a Bahamian ready for the challenges of the 21st. Century. 13. Improvement in the services delivered by all government agencies through the supervisory and oversight agency of the office of the Ombudsman which will be introduced immediately. 14. Fundamental Constitutional Reform towards a Republican system of checks and balances on the power of the Prime Minister, in order to advance Democracy. Local Government for New Providence now, and better funding of Family island local government. We need to become The Democratic Republic of the Bahamas. |

THE TAX/DEBT BURDEN AS PREDICTED WAS INCREASED IN 2010 BNP warned Ingraham for years to stop his rash borrowing ! Now he has heaped on our heads crushing tax increases. There is no real plan to reduce our dependence on external credit, we are being taxed so that Ingraham can borrow to buy the general election. The underlying problem is that we have too few really sustainable jobs! We need IMMEDIATE PROGRAM RETRAINING at least some of OUR PEOPLE IN AREAS OF AGRICULTURE. THE WORLD HAS CHANGED: THERE WILL BE NO RETURN TO THE FORMER CONDITION OF LIVING OFF TOURIST MONEY. CUBA IS RAPIDLY COMING ON STREAM, AND AMERICAN UNEMPLOYMENT, DEBT AND TIGHT CREDIT WILL KILL THE CULTURE OF LEISURE SPENDING ON BAHAMIAN VACATIONS. FACE THE TRUTH NOW! WE MUST CREATE A MORE BALANCED ECONOMY TO SURVIVE. TODAY EVERYONE CAN SEE THAT GIVING AWAY OUR LAND FOR SERVANT JOBS KEEPING SECOND HOMES FOR FOREIGNERS WAS FOOLISH. NOBODY CAN BLAME INVESTORS FOR LOOKING OUT FOR THEIR PROFIT, IT IS OUR FAULT FOR NEGLECTING OUR OWN INTERESTS. WE CAN USE OUR LAND BETTER : WE CAN DO MORE TO FEED OURSELVES, AND HAVE A SURPLUS FOR TRADE. LETS FEED OURSELVES. THE WORLD NEEDS FOOD: WE CAN PRODUCE FOOD FOR OUR OWN USE AND IF THERE IS A SURPLUS WE CAN SELL IT AND THEREFORE HAVE EXPORTS IN ADDITION TO SERVICES AS DOLLAR EARNERS. WE ARE WELL SUITED TO FISH FARMING ON A LARGE SCALE: WE CAN CREATE CONCH FARMS, SHRIMP, GROUPER AND LOBSTER FARMS! WE CAN PRODUCE HIGH QUALITY CANNED FISH FOR EXPORT TO THE WORLD. IT IS TIME WE STOPPED EATING CANCER PRODUCING IMPORTED FOOD: WE CAN EAT LOCALLY GROWN, CANCER AGENT FREE FOOD! ARTIFICIAL IMPORTED FOOD IS CAUSING FAR TOO MANY DEATHS FROM CANCER TODAY! SOCIAL PROMOTION IN EDUCATION MUST END: THE FNM AND PLP WERE WRONG TO DUMB DOWN OUR EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM TO PRODUCE ONLY WORKERS FOR THE TOURIST PLANTATION. 8O% OF OUR PEOPLE CAN NO LONGER DEPEND ON SHRINKING TOURIST WORK: IT IS TIME FOR A NEW DIRECTION: A BETTER PLAN FOR OUR PEOPLE. WE MUST CUT DOWN THE SIZE OF THIS SWOLLEN GOVERNMENT: IT IS HIGH TIME TO FIND A BETTER WAY TO PAY FOR THE COST OF GOVERNMENT. TIME TO END DUTY ON IMPORTS AND MOVE TO A MORE EQUITABLE TAX SYSTEM. |
